About the Recipe

I devised this sauce when I was unable to get horseradish sauce for my roast beef and it has replaced horseradish sauce on my table.

Ingredients

4 Spring onions finely chopped

Handful of fresh coriander finely chopped

3Tbsp Soy Sauce

2Tbsp spoons

1tsp Cornstarch

125ml low far evaporated milk or fresh cream

Preparation

Fry the spring onions and coriander in the lemon juice and soy sauce until the onions are tender.

Add the evaporated mil and bring to a boil on a medium heat.

Thicken with the cornstarch but bear in mind the sauce will thicken on standing.

Serve with beef or ostrich steak or roast beef.
